LKPB provided electrical design and mechanical review for this $14 million design-build project. The 11-story, 283,000 GSF building is LEED Gold Certified. Energy saving design features included daylight harvesting in perimeter spaces and ramp lighting occupancy sensor controls in the 5-level, 1100-car parking deck. In the ramp lighting fixtures, the time adjustable sensors turn off 2 out of 3 bulbs when no activity is in the ramp, yielding a substantial energy savings.

LKPB also worked on the base buildings for the 8000, 8400 and 8500 Towers and has completed numerous tenant infills in all of the towers. The firm was hired to design parking ramp lighting upgrades to Towers 8300, 8400, and 8500. The relighting project received an Illuminating Engineering Society 2009 Award of Merit in the Energy and Environmental Design category.
