The Ben Pomeroy Student - Alumni Learning Center provides a state-of-the-art learning facility for the College of Veterinary Medicine. An adaptive re-use project turned this mothballed, 1907 dairy barn into desirable seminar and classroom space. The $4.1 million renovation was completed in 2007.

The two-story 13,400 GSF includes a 200-seat dividable classroom/seminar space, four flexible classrooms for 12-50 people, offices, and a commons area with snack bar. A newly built silo at the east end of the building mimics the original silo and contains the mechanical room. Campus steam and chilled water enter the silo to serve a variable air volume handler that extends into the building.
