Navy Federal Credit Union
Heritage Oaks Campus, Phase 1
Pensacola, Florida
LKPB provided commissioning for the Navy Federal Credit Union's Heritage Oaks Campus, Phase 1, which is the first Florida building to be LEED-NC Gold certified.
Phase 1 is part of the call center complex, a future campus that will include four buildings and a central energy plant, a total of 600,000 SF. Phase 1 is 56,000 SF.
The Credit Union's philosophy - "Healthy employees equal healthy business." - is the key behind numerous environmentally sound office design elements including
oxygen-producing plants inside the building, a highly efficient air filtration system, and individual work station heating/cooling controls.

A 400-foot long glass exterior wall gives staff a connection to the adjacent woods and yields ample daylighting to nearby workstations. A special control system adjusts
energy-efficient lighting fixtures depending on the daylight-harvest performance.
The Navy Federal Credit Union is one of the world's largest credit unions.
