225 South Sixth Street - Capella Tower

Since the skyscraper opened in 1992, LKPB has designed projects on 23 of the 56 floors at 225 South Sixth Street. The building's name was originally known as First Bank Place, then US Bank Place, then 225 South Sixth, and it changed to Capella Tower in 2009. The building's total office space is 1,400,000 SF. An illuminated semicircle at the top of the skyscraper is a Minneapolis skyline landmark and has given the Tower its nickname, the "Halo Building."
